Academic Exchange & Study Abroad

Universidad La Salle offers exchange students the opportunity to live and study in a great city.

Undergraduate programs

We offer 27 programs, in six schools/faculties, to exchange & study abroad students: 1. Business; 2. Humanities and Social Sciences (Education, Psychology, Religious Sciences, Philosophy); 3. Law; 4. Chemistry; 5. Engineering; 6. Architecture, Design and Communication. All undergraduate academic programs adhere to the following guidelines: 

· Academic terms last 16 weeks. Calendar: August-December & January-May

 

 

· Most regular courses total 60 hours of instruction. Courses requiring labs or practices have more hours of instruction.

 

 

· Grading system is on a scale of 1-10, in which 10 is excellent and less than 6 is failed.

 

 

· Classes are mostly offered in Spanish. An intermediate level of proficiency (B2) is required for foreign students. Check our website for more options and classes offered in English.

Graduate programs

Open only to students who meet the following requirements: authorization from home university and four years of study at university level. Courses are subject to availability. Contact us for more information. Calendar: Late August-Early December & Early January-Late April

In addition to academic courses, students have access to cultural activities and sports. Internships may be arranged upon request. The "Casa del Estudiante" houses a wide variety of students associations, student government and support services for student life.
